please mind the gap

Watching the gap between sanity and stupidity grow wider and wider in San Francisco

AAAAAACCCCK!

This site has a horrible theory. Click there now and click back to read the rest of this post.

Joseph Davis, I mean Gray Davis, will be out of a job very soon.

He wants to stay in politics so he can continue getting money for nothing. So where would he run for an assured victory? In a place that had overwhelming support for him. Where would that be?

Look at the map. In the center of it is San Francisco. AAAAAACK!

more Moaning

Sheesh.

I must be ahead of the curve. After all, I AM from San Francisco, where we know what's best for everyone else and are the most intellegent and enlightened compared to all those other "people" in the state.

Yup. We are always right. Uh huh.

Bullshit. Click here for some whining in print about Davis' banishment. Find the examples of liberal bias and win a prize!

Moaning

An exchange I had in my office:

Other: Boy the people in CA are stupid except for us in San Francisco

Me: Look at the numbers; it's a landslide and it passed everywhere but here. Maybe San Francisco is out of step.

Other: We should secede from the rest of the state then.

Me: That's nice. Who's going to pay for all the social welfare programs & entitlements? You?

Silence.

Sums it up nicely.

Lesson Learned (I hope)

There's a concise column on what happens when you let liberals run amok, get all the money and drive a state into the ground trying to create a welfare state...

Why do we fight? So this can never happen again. Now all we need to do is bring this to San Francisco...

Big Big Numbers and sore dems

According to the various news media, the turnout was close to 10 million voters. That's 30% higher than the last gubernatorial where Davis barely squeaked by Bill Simon and according to the pundits, could reach 70% of the electorate after all the absentee ballots and what not are tallied.

Ah-nold has a mandate now because of the sheer number of voters who supported him and supported the recall.

Naturally, San Francisco liberals are going to be sore losers...check out SFGate's poll. At least Davis had 5 years to "implement his vision"...

Gray Davis has been (figuratively) Terminated! Or "banished" according to the South China Morning Post.

Ah-nold Schwarzenegger is now the Governor-Elect of the State of California!

Unfortunately, Bustamante is still the Lt. Governor. And we need to rebuild our numbers in the Assembly.

Got to fill those holes in three years...

Endgame

Well, today is Recall Day, the day when we recall the two headed hydra known as Gray Bustamante.

Or in layman's terms, Gray Davis and Cruz Bustamante. How can you do this, o California voter?

Vote YES on the Recall and

Vote for Arnold Schwarzenegger for Governor.

It's time to shake up the state's politics. And Arnold is the shaker that will shake things up!

And it was endgame for the A's last night. They went down fighting, unlike Atlanta the other night. It's been a bad month for Bay Area baseball...

Government Stupidity

The FBI is supposed to be one of our major lines of defence in the War against Terror.

It's also supposed to be one of the forces that's supposed to be fighting cyber crime.

Today in my email box, I receive an email from "government@fbi.gov" addressed to "inhabitant USA" asking for my debit card information. It's supposed to help the government and yourself from "financial crash".

When you click on the link, it sends you over to a numeric IP address in Houston where you fill out your information.

Figures that this is something the agency would like to see, maybe track down the provider and cut off a source of fraud, right?

Here's how it went.

11:10 Called San Francisco FBI field office. Told me to email it to an address they gave me. I thought, "easy" and forwarded it with a note.

11:35 Receive bounce message; server is full.

Went to eat lunch and do some work.

15:00 Called field office again. Got sent to the duty officer with voice mail. Went back to the receptionist. Transferred to someone in the cyber crimes division that had no idea she couldn't forward email to a web page. Totally incompetent and computer illiterate (according to her). Took my name and number and said "she'd get back to me" which is civil servant for: "not going to call back".

Meanwhile, this scam I received continues. If this is how the FBI moves on tips, imagine all the hot leads on bad guys that have dried up.

Does not fill me with a lot of faith.

UPDATE: On top of the FBI website is a link that refers to this scam. But it still doesn't excuse how slowly or how professionally the San Francisco field office handled this...

How to prevent Voter Fraud

Democraps are experts at committing voter fraud, especially when no one is around to challenge them. Look at the Dornan/Sanchez race a few years back and her sister (who was also elected to congress) who voted twice in the election she ran in.

But, when they're put on notice that they are being watched...they slink away like roaches when the lights go on.

John Fund's column on the Voter Integrity Project. Read. Now.

Chances are, your dum dem friends will oppose much of this article. Their thoughts don't matter anyway.

Wah!

So the Chicago Cubs are going to the NLCS.

The first time in 95 years. The drought is over.

And if they wind up playing the Red Sox in the World Serious, the following will happen in order:

hell will freeze over

I'll win the lotto

Peace will break out in the Middle East (that doesn't involve killing Israelis)

San Francisco will have Republican Government again.

I'd put odds on everything but that last item.

Sorry about your Braves, Nina. Better luck next year (along with my Giants).

More Puke Politics

So more of the "Weekend Surprise". More puke politics from Davis and his cronies (note to state: Dianne Feinstein has got to go NOW). Lots of hit pieces blaming Arnold and the Bush Administration for all the woes that the mighty Davis/Bustamante is fighting against. According to their ads, it's not their fault! It's George Bush's!

Their desperation is truly disgusting and if it's meant to turn people off from voting, it's not working.

Many people know where the puke comes from and on Tuesday, they can get rid of Davis and Bustamante, the producers of puke. Even people in Chicago, a solidly Democrat town (but not full of California democraps), don't give Gray Bustamante much credit. Fun reading here forwarded from a friend of mine.
