Rage against the (dead?) Machine
A very optimistic report from the
hometown rag declares
the end of the "Brown/Burton Machine" based on the last few elections we've had here in San Francisco.
Despite Brown and Burton being termed out, they're still in the mix. And along with Pelosi in the House, the machine will still be there, only now behind the scenes as opposed to being out in front.
The machine ain't dead yet, contrary to the wishes of all the leftists, whoops I meant "progressives", in San Francisco for the moment...
And for the rest of us, we have to manuever accordingly.

Said the overpaid Muni driver right before
this happened!
Over 20 hurt plus the driver. I foresee a LOT of lawsuits against the City that property owners will have to pick up the tab for in higher taxes.
Just another example of the "professional" MUNI operators "performing their jobs". See here for
more on this and why this is not, unfortunately, an uncommon occurance.
It's time to allow competition in Public Transit in San Francisco. Anyone who says that the government does transit best is on crack!
