Disappointing
A couple of weeks ago was the 1-year anniversary (?) of the beginning of the end for Saddam and his Baath Party in Iraq. Much as WWII was the end of Hitler and his National Socialist Party.
Naturally, in San Francisco, the land of the Fifth Column, there was a symphathy march for Saddam and any other leftist cause that opposes the President and the United States. There were also some arrests and what not, all videotaped.
Kamala Harris was elected on a "law and order" platform, at least in San Francisco. She would claim at campaign events that she would uphold the law, unlike Hallinan who was issuing free rides to all leftists.
Well, guess what? I was right. Harris is simply "Hallinan Light".
All of the arrestees are being cut loose save for two (which will probably be dropped when the media spotlight is off).

You all know about the 9-11 hearings and how ex-NSA Clarke is allegedly the smoking gun against the administration?
You know, the "Bush Knew" crowd? The ones that claim that the President didn't do enough to prevent 9-11? Even though the Clinton Administration had 8 years to deal with, Bush is supposed to fix it in 7 months?

Disturbing...
There was a rally of schoolchildren and union teachers on a "field trip" to whine about the recent round of budget cuts last week at the Capitol (Sacramento).
Besides the day off these students got to push a union agenda (cuz a lot of this funding benefits the union more than the students) instead of studying, the students were holding a lot of signs.
Hello? It's not YOUR MONEY because you didn't earn it.
So you're not entitled to it.
The union is creating yet another generation of entitlements...
I can imagine how the setup for the field trip went...
"Let's make some signs for you all to hold so you all can be on television!"
"Pick a slogan from my list of slogans and you can carry that sign on TV!"
It's disgusting how the unions use people...they use the helpless and the powerless to push their own ends. Can you imagine teachers who have unchallenged control over their classes giving their students "guidance" on how to vote?
