If the SFFD got here 7 to 8 minutes later, we would have seen another house go up in flames. But that's OK to the liberal Board of Supervisors because not all the Richmond support the leftist cause and SFFD resources belong in other districts, such as 5 and 8 and 9 that do. At least that's what the proposed cuts show. 

What the Richmond lacks in density compared to some other districts it makes up for in distance and size. Distance between firehouses and size of buildings.  

There was a fire 2 blocks from my house today. Thankfully the SFFD rolled with three alarms and put it out in 30 minutes or so. No thanks to the Board of Supervisors who wants to close one of the 2 Richmond District firehouses.

Where we can't even call someone "chicken" (someone like opposing managers who won't pitch to Barry Bonds) because it would be offensive to chickens by promoting a stereotype?
