Tar-Jay Bans Xmas Tradition
Target (AKA Tar-Jay to the yuppie generation) has
banned the Salvation Army collection kettles.
It's excuse is that it has a blanket "
no solicitation" policy and it kanna make exception for the Army and it's kettle pots any longer.
What's the real reason? Political correctness? Or the threat of pending litigation? Who knows! Since when did Tar-Jay become an arm of the Government? They're a private corporation and they should be able to pick and choose which causes they want to support.
Big emphasis on "WANT" to support. Maybe they dun wanna...
