Shelley is OUT!
Naturally, he chose to
resign on a Friday afternoon (so the news would make the Saturday papers which are not usually read) with the usual BS about him not being able to do his job because of the "tides of this storm".
Well, don't
misuse federal funds and
hire cronies who are related to campaign contributors who
raised money illegally and you probably wouldn't have had a storm.
Also, try to
play well with others. That helps too when you need political cover.
Shelley resigning is a good start. Next on the list: PeRATa.

Kevin Shelley has been caught:
Misusing federal funds that were earmarked to insure honest elections in CA.
Hiring cronies by bypassing Civil Service requirements
Running an office that was a "hostile work environment"
But yet, according to
this, he will not leave unless he gets full immunity from the laws he broke AND a job. He apparently kanna live on US$107,000 a year.
Typical of a democrap to break the law and then expect to get paid off so he will "voluntarily resign". I truly hope that when the charges come, there's a media circus followed by Shelley being led out of his office in cuffs by US Marshals via the "perp walk".
Then the next one should be PeRATa. ..
