Ain't it funny how liberals want to ignore the 1st Amendment? Except when it's their MSM frens and 527s under scrutiny? It was bad enough that the FEC tried this (with covert liberal support).
San Francisco Stupidvisors Maxwell, Peskin and Alioto-Pier have authored legislation that would require bloggers to register with the City "ethics commission" if their costs go over US$1000 OR if they get more than 500 hits with a page that mentions a local candidate or issue. Read it
here. This is a serious assault against the 1st Amendment. More likely, it's an attempt to shut down an avenue of communication that is NOT controlled by their frens in the MSM.
Call Stupidvisors Maxwell, Peskin and Alioto-Pier and complain that it's bad legislation and that the City will spend millions of property owner tax dollars defending this defective law in court!
