Lifestyle Bum, I mean "homeless" story

Today in the SF Comicle, there's a warm, liberal, 60s-ish fuzzy wuzzy story about a "lifestyle homeless" person who came down to San Fran to be a bum and then chronicles her journey back to Washington state, courtesy of a bus ticket paid for by San Francisco property taxpayers. I wonder if the Comicle reporter that accompanied her on the bus ride paid for anything (you know, like food, booze, recreational drugs??), or just simply sat there for the ride.

Typical of the elitist attitude of these lifestyle homeless, when a bum in Sacramento panhandles her (like she did during her time in San Francisco), she blows him off.

"Spare a dollar?" a bushy-bearded homeless man asked Williams as she strolled back to the station. Williams scowled and didn't answer.

"I ain't no hum-bum like that," she said bitterly, a block away. "Hum-bums stay on the street forever. Me, I'm going home to a mama."

Hey, lifestyle homeless person! Guess what? You come down to San Francisco and pull the same shite, guess what? YOU A "HUM-BUM" TOO! Don't think you're better just because you took a free ticket paid for by the property taxpayers of San Francisco!

Damn, we should send her a bill for "services rendered".
